Welcome to the Squarepeg Podcast
~ Season 8 is HERE! Listen to Episode 1 now ~
Autistic women* and nonbinary people share our stories
The Squarepeg podcast is all about giving autistic adults an opportunity to hear from other neurodivergent people.
I’m Amy Richards. I was diagnosed autistic in 2016 at age 37. I chat with a different autistic guest each week about topics including late diagnosis (or self identification) and navigating education, work, relationships – and life in general – as neurodivergent adults.
I hope you’ll find these conversations inspiring and thought provoking, and that they’ll open you up to new ways of thinking about being autistic, and offer a sense of connection to the autistic community.

“This podcast has made me both laugh and cry with recognition and validation and I couldn’t be more grateful for it.”

“My insides (and sometimes my outsides) do a little dance every time a new episode pops up – my appetite for SquarePeg is impossible to satiate! Hearing others’ stories has been revolutionary for better understanding myself. “

“Your podcast is like hearing myself in ten different accents. I LOVE it. This has helped me more than talking to doctors or autism counsellors.”

I listened to this whilst preparing lecture content @UoB_Nursing students on #Neurodiversity. We absolutely need comprehensive & impactful training for #healthprofessionals to identify & effectively support #Neurodivergent people. We must do better. https://t.co/fMEXqf0rt5
